    Dealer Information

    HMS Software has been in business since 1984 but it is only since the release of TimeControl, our enterprise-wide timekeeping system that it has sought out other qualified firms to represent HMS in its sales and marketing efforts around the world.

    Becoming a TimeControl dealer brings to you a number of benefits that we'll describe briefly here.

    Sales
    First, TimeControl sales can be tremendously lucrative. As an enterprise-wide product, TimeControl is often deployed to 100% of the staff. Although per-seat pricing can go as low as $50 per license, typical sales are between 50 and 1000 licenses.

    Commissions
    TimeControl dealers receive a generous percentage of sales they have generated. Particular percentages are determined by HMS or the international distributor who will directly supply the dealer.

    Marketing Assistance
    HMS has an extensive marketing campaign that has elements covering a wide range of countries and industries. The HMS marketing efforts are multi-faceted including: print advertising, webvertising the internet, trade shows, mailing campaigns, association sponsorship, alliance partnerships and more.

    For dealers who wish to work on marketing efforts in their own area, HMS collaborates with a cooperative marketing plan, contributing some of the costs of joint marketing efforts conducted by the dealer. This allows you to leverage your own efforts with our assistance.

    Web Presence
    HMS has one of the oldest web sites on the Internet. Our site contains extensive information of interest to those who either manager projects, implement enterprise-wide applications or are generally interested in Activity-Based-Costing. On our website is a huge collection of published articles, white papers, analysis, on-line links and resources as well, of course, as information on TimeControl. Visitors can immediately download a full working copy of TimeControl to begin their evaluation. All of our dealers are listed on-line in the Offices section of the site along with direct links to your own site if one exists. Our marketing staff constantly work on having our site indexed in most search engines and our ongoing efforts to generate website traffic will bring prospective clients to your own site directly.

    Leads
    HMS sends leads for your area and/or your industry directly to you from people who have contacted us or who have downloaded a trial-size version from the Internet. If you are a sub-dealer to one of our international distributors, then they will send leads for your particular sub-area to you directly.

    Sales Materials
    Sales collateral for TimeControl is extensive. HMS has generated a wide range of materials to help you close sales once the initial contact is made. These materials include: brochures, fact sheets covering a variety of specialized topics, references, testimonials, case studies, competitive analysis, white papers, trial size CDs, demonstration disks, promotional materials, technical references and more.

    Sales Training
    On a regular basis, senior HMS sales staff visit dealerships all over the world to assist with sales in progress and help with training the sales staff. In addition, training of both sales and technical staff can be done at HMS Software's headquarters in Montreal Canada at no cost to the dealer.

    Technical Assistance
    HMS provides a wide range of technical assistance to the dealer to bolster their own efforts. In particular, HMS implementation specialists can be made available to dealers who wish to train their own staff on-the-job when implementation assistance is required by the client.

    Value added to your existing business
    TimeControl can help you with your existing business. As an enterprise-wide timekeeping package, TimeControl is an ideal add-on to companies who are already selling or implementing software which TimeControl links to. This includes Microsoft Project, Primavera, Open Plan, PS7 and virtually all ERP systems. Becoming a dealer for TimeControl can provide an opportunity to expand the revenue generation for existing clients by providing an enterprise-wide solution.

    Is it for you?
    Being an HMS Software dealer is not for everyone. We're picky. HMS looks for dealers who have an established reputation as a high-quality implementor and who have both the sales and technical expertise to distribute high-end systems. Prospective dealers must be willing to invest personnel and time into marketing and selling TimeControl and cannot, of course, be representing competitive products.
