TimeControl Et Systèmes ERP/Finance

TimeControl links with ERP, Finance, HR, Payroll and other corporate systems.

Virtually every ERP and Finance System comes with its own timesheet yet, in some organizations these timesheets are never deployed. In other organizations ERP timesheets systems are deployed and become only one of several timesheets that are maintained.

The reason for this is often the single-minded purpose of the typical ERP timesheet as a time and attendance tool.

Most modern organizations have multiple requirements for a timesheet system. Data from timesheets may be used not just for payroll but also part of a project management system. Timesheets could also be used to support activity-based costing for government compliance reporting such as R&D tax credits, Defense Contract Audit (DCAA) agency tracking or American Recovery and Restoration Act (ARRA) reporting. Timesheet data may be part of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance or billing information and timesheets might be used by Human Resources to track vacation, sick leave or other types of non-working time.

TimeControl is a multi-function timesheet designed to serve the needs of the ERP/Finance system but also other requirements such as HR, Project Management, Billing and government compliance at the same time.

TimeControl's unique Matrix Approval Process for Labor Actuals™ allows approvals for HR, Finance and Payroll on the organizational side and Client, Account, Project Management on the Work side to be approved within the same process.

TimeControl is designed to integrate with ERP systems such as Oracle Financials, PeopleSoft, JDE, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics and with service systems such as ADP along with Project management environments like Microsoft Project, Project Server, Oracle-Primavera and Deltek.

It carries the auditable financial controls to ensure that the timesheet data is auditable and appropriate for immediate integration into corporate Finance/ERP processes such as Job-Costing, Human Resources tracking, Payroll, Billing, Sub-contract management, R&D tax credit claims, and capitalization for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

Using a single source of timesheet data for multiple purposes means:

  • No reconciliation between disparate timesheet systems;

  • Better auditability thanks to all systems always balancing;

  • Better staff efficiency by demanding few timesheet systems to be completed.

  • Decentralized Project Management and Centralized Timesheets with TimeControl
    Decentralized Project Management and Centralized Timesheets

    When people talk about Enterprise Project Management software, they tend to think about a large centralized system either on premise or online which houses all project data. For many reasons, not every organization is able or willing to deploy such a centralized system. There are millions of licenses of stand alone project management systems in organizations and these stand alone systems continue to serve project managers well. But what does that mean for the centralized requirement for timesheets? This white paper looks at this business challenge and points out the benefits of using decentralized project systems and a centralized TimeControl timesheet all linked together. This is impossible with other timesheet systems as TimeControl has by far the most integrations with project systems in the industry.
