HMS Annouces 2004 Results

Leading provider of enterprise timesheet and enteprise project management systems expands

Montreal, Quebec January 27, 2005 - HMS Software, a division of Heuristic Management Systems Inc. announces its financial results for the 2004 fiscal year ending December 31st, 2004. The Montreal-based company is an internationally renowned specialist in project-oriented products and services.

"2004 was a growth year for HMS", says Chris Vandersluis, HMS president and founder, "We're very happy with this year's results. In this challenging economy and in a particularly challenging environment for IT organizations, HMS continues to flourish. This year saw an overall growth of more than 10% with continuing profitability."

HMS has two main streams of business revenue. One from the sale and support of TimeControl, its enterprise timesheet system designed for project environments, the other from Consulting Services which specialize in the implementation of enterprise project management systems such as Microsoft Project and Project Server.

"While both aspects of our business grew in 2004," reports Vandersluis, "Consulting Services growth was spectacular. In particular, our Microsoft Project consulting practice grew by over 100% last year. We credit this to our strong relationship with both Microsoft Canada and Microsoft headquarters in Redmond, Washington as well as the realization of a number of long-term initiatives which are now beginning to bear fruit."

HMS Software's TimeControl also enjoyed growth overall in 2004. "We're delighted with the ongoing strength of the TimeControl market," said Vandersluis. "TimeControl sales of product and technical services were up this year and TimeControl continues to find new users in both North America and overseas. TimeControl users in 2004 include companies in North America, Europe, Scandinavia, Africa, the Gulf, Australia and Asia. Needless to say our international network of dealers continues to play an important role in our expansion."
