HMS Software, publishers of the TimeControl timesheet system have announced the release of TimeControl 7.2 which includes a new free mobile App and a full API

Montreal, October 10, 2017 – HMS Software, publishers of TimeControl, the world’s most flexible timesheet system has announced the release of TimeControl version 7.2. This update to TimeControl includes a number of new and enhanced features.

TimeControl version 7.2 includes the newly completed TimeControl Mobile App designed for both Android and iOS (Apple) devices as well as an API and numerous new and enhanced features. All of these new and enhanced features are included with each of the TimeControl Editions: TimeControl, TimeControl Online and TimeControl Industrial.

The TimeControl Mobile App
The TimeControl Mobile App is a free App designed to work on both Android and iOS (Apple) devices. The App lets users log into their TimeControl account and create a timesheet, update an existing timesheet, complete and release a timesheet and, if a supervisor, approve or reject timesheets. The App has an intuitive interface with a highly responsive design. If used on an Android device, it adopts the styles and characteristics of that device. If on an Apple device, it appears as any other Apple-based App. The screen adjusts to the resolution available to it.

The TimeControl Mobile App is free and available on Google Play and the Apple App Store.

TimeControl API
TimeControl version 7.2 includes a complete Application Programming Interface (API) to add the already numerous methods of integrating TimeControl. TimeControl already includes scheduled importing and exporting for corporate systems and specific integrations with multiple project management tools. This new REST-based API goes even further, letting organizations program the movement of data into and out of TimeControl by creating programming calls to the TimeControl API.

Timesheet Grouping
TimeControl now allows you to group Timesheet lines and for TimeControl Industrial users, the lines of a Crew Timesheet. For users with a large number of line items, grouping them can help organize data entry. There are up to five levels of grouping and lines can be grouped and summarized by any field displayed on the timesheet.

And more...
Additional new and enhanced features include: Scheduled Timesheet Creation, Scheduled Autofilled Timesheets, email notifications in Line Item Approvals, pretest Validation Rules, SAML 2.0 authentication support, new data views in the Drill Down Analyzer and more.
