TimeControl Consulting TimeControl is HMS Software's enterprise timekeeping system designed for project environments. There are 3 editions of TimeControl created for varying sizes and complexities of timekeeping requirements: TimeControl Express, TimeControl Professional and TimeControl Enterprise

TimeControl Express is an easy to install 'light' version which is designed for organizations from 10 to 100 users. It comes with its own freeware client/server database and all the project management linking functionality that has made TimeControl popular around the world. It includes a complete web interface. With installation so simple and many of the options of TimeControl Express pre-set, assisting organizations with a deployment is often not required. The QuikStart program for Express is only one-day long and is centered around training the TimeControl Administrator and setting procedures and practices to start getting use out of the product immediately.

TimeControl Professional is designed for a growing mid-sized organization from 50 to 1000 users. As with all our TimeControl versions it comes pre-configured with links to Microsoft Project, Primavera and Open Plan as well as a user-definable module to link to virtually any finance system. TimeControl Professional can be installed using MS SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase, Informix or InterBase databases and includes both a Web and Windows interface.

The QuikStart program for Professional lasts one week and starts with ensuring that the system is properly installed on your Windows-based Server. Our consultant will work with you to determine how to define fields and settings in the system to deliver the results you require. We will also help with moving legacy data into TimeControl Professional and in setting practices and procedures for its use so you can begin getting a return on your investment as soon as possible.

TimeControl Enterprise is designed to work across entire enterprises of up to 100,000 users. It includes a timesheet with multi-platform support and a server which can support different Web Servers. TimeControl Enterprise includes an open n-tier architecture, which was designed to efficiently support multi-national corporations working across extreme distances. Enterprise is our most flexible and robust version which includes both the Windows and Web interface, a timesheet designed for Internet Explorer and a Java timesheet interface which is platform independent supporting Windows with different browsers, Unix, and other platforms. Like all TimeControl versions, Enterprise is multi-lingual and supports Matrix Organization approvals. Enterprise also includes the Data Consolidator, which can bring multiple organizations' timesheet data together for reporting or analysis purposes.

The QuikStart program for Enterprise lasts from 3 to 4 weeks depending on your requirements. It starts with complete installation of both the Windows-based Administration Transaction Server and the Java-based Java Transaction Server. These middle-ware components are designed to support a complete n-tier environment. Once the system is installed, our consultant will work with you to confirm you design criteria for the timesheet environment and the various systems you may with to link it to. We will work with you to import legacy data from other systems, to link TimeControl to your project and financial systems and to create the automated business rules that will define how TimeControl will be used.

We will help you to establish practices and procedures to manage the system on a regular basis and to document these as part of your corporate systems.
