HMS Opens Toronto Office
MONTREAL - November 11, 1996 - HMS Software, publishers of TimeControl the Canadian distributor of Open Plan and long-time project management specialists, have announced the opening of a new office in Burlington Ontario.
"It is a question of how we may better accomodate our already existing client base in Southern Ontario," says Chris Vandersluis, President of HMS Software. "We've been doing business in this area since 1985 with clients such as Dofasco Steel, Ontario Hydro, EDS and General Motors, and we felt it was long overdue for us to have a presence here. Our expansion to a second, full-service office will enable us to provide the kind of service our clients have come to expect from us here in Montreal."
In an effort to make services more accessible to HMS Software's current and potential uses, technical support, training, and consulting will now be available in both the existing Montreal offices and directly through HMS Software Toronto.
Ken Edwards, Sales Manager for HMS Software for the past 7 years, will be heading the Toronto sales team. "The response to this expansion by our Ontario clients has been very positive," says Mr. Edwards. "Our clients and prospects are pleased that support will be available to them locally. Colin Edwards, long-time user of Open Plan and former employee of Ontario Hydro, joins Ken in Burlington to head up Technical Services.
