Conformité Aux Critères De La Defense Contract Audit Agency
The US Defense Contract Audit Agency (www.dcaa.mil) is responsible to ensure that contracts that fall within its jurisdiction are properly accounted for. At one time this only referred to huge defense projects for the US Department of Defense (DOD).
The auditing standards that the DCAA created have now been adopted for some projects by a number of US-based agencies including Homeland Security, the Department of Energy (DOE) the Department of Transport (DOT) and others. These standards can also be imposed on sub-contractors to those who must comply with DCAA standards even when those sub-contractors are outside of the US.
The DCAA does not endorse specific software or make recommendations on any particular software vendor. They do, however, lay out some very strict rules on what type of system meets their audit criteria.
TimeControl meets these stringent DCAA standards and TimeControl has been implemented numerous times with contractors in order to conform with DCAA criteria.
Among other requirements, TimeControl includes the ability to track every timesheet with complete auditability. We can determine who made the original entry, and who approved the timesheet at each level. TimeControl also supports the DCAA requirement that says that only the source person can enter or change the timesheet. If you need to deploy a DCAA compliant timesheet system, TimeControl is the ideal choice.
With its remarkable flexibility, TimeControl can not only achieve DCAA compliance, it can also act as your primary labor actuals system, collecting timesheets for the HR, Payroll and Project Management systems.
Once timesheet data has been collected, it can be reported on or transferred directly to both the finance systems required and the project management system. This type of integration allows for project reports made to the government to match government invoicing to the penny and that the audit trail between the Finance System always matches.
