HMS Software, Publishers of TimeControl provide solution-oriented resource center

TimeControl version 8.1
TimeControl has been one of the most popular multi-function timesheet systems since 1994. The TimeControl team has made a free portal featuring numerous elements of collateral on how to use its products to solve business challenges.

Montreal, Canada, August 5, 2020 – Most software vendors have a website showing how its features work and explaining why you should buy or subscribe to the solution. TimeControl, one of the most popular project-based timesheets in the industry goes a lot further.

“It’s easy to talk about features,” explains Chris Vandersluis, President of HMS Software, “after all TimeControl has lots of great features. But, people don’t come to us to buy features. They come to us to solve a particular business challenge. So we have focused much of our website on how to solve business problems using TimeControl.”

The TimeControl.com features area is still there of course, with sections on reporting, security, the free TimeControl Mobile App and more but the solutions area of TimeControl has a very different orientation.

The free portal includes sections on how to use TimeControl for Project Tracking depending on which project management tool the client uses. There are individual sections dedicated to Microsoft Project, Project Server, Project Online and Project for the Web as well as sections for Primavera, Brightwork, PRISM, JIRA and Deltek EPM.

There are sections how to use TimeControl for:
● Compliance with the DCAA (Defense Contract Audit Agency)
● Using TimeControl when applying for R&D Tax Credits
● Using TimeControl in the public sector
● Using TimeControl to manage contractors
● Using TimeControl when in the public sector
● And so much more

Each section contains a variety of collateral including webcasts, white papers, slide presentations and factsheets. Some collateral is specific to HMS Software’s TimeControl but much of it is generic and of use regardless of which timesheet tool is used.

Access to the TimeControl Solutions Portal is free. It is accessible at: TimeControl.com/use-cases.
