How do you count a license?

This is a common question and the answer is similar but different for different products

For TimeControl onpremise and TimeControl Online, we count both from the User Table and the Employee Table. An active record in the User Table counts as one license. An active record in the Employee Table counts as one record. If a User Table Record references an Employee Table record, then the combination counts as one license.

For TimeControl Industrial onpremise and TimeControl Industrial Online, we count from the User Table and the Employee Table. One User Record is one license and can be counted as either a User License or a Crew License. One Employee with no corresponding User Table reference counts as one Crew License.

You can identify the number of licenses being used in the User or Employee Tables. Click on the ellipsis and select "License Information"

For TimeControl Project which can be part of either TimeControl Online or TimeControl Industrial Online, we count the total number of licenses and do not make any changes based on the TimeControl Project subscription.
