Publishers of TimeControlOnline, the world's most flexible timesheet, has announced two major extensions of its Cloud-Based service.

Montreal, June 4, 2013 - HMS Software, the publishers of TimeControl, one of the world's most popular timesheet systems announced today two new programs of its Cloud-based subscription service, TimeControl online.

TimeControl Cross-Over Program

Choosing a timesheet system for an organization can be a challenge, but one daunting aspect of the selection is whether to choose from an online service in the cloud or an on-premises solution for installation within the organization. TimeControl is available for purchase for an in-house installation but it also available as a Cloud-based subscription service. HMS has now formalized a program called Cross-Over which allows clients who have purchased TimeControl to migrate to the TimeControlOnline service or those who have subscribed to TimeControlOnline to migrate to an on premises purchase. The program includes a credit from one system to the other and guidance on how to transfer all data from one system to the other to avoid system interruption.

"From the moment we offered TimeControlOnline in the Cloud as a subscription service two years ago, we had some clients asking how they could transfer," says Chris Vandersluis, President of HMS Software. "So we had to define a way that existing clients could realize some credit of what they had purchased towards a subscription. Over the last two years we've also had requests from clients who wanted to start quickly with TimeControlOnline as a service but ultimately migrate to an in-house installation. We've now made the credits available for moving in either direction an offical part of our pricing."

The Cross-Over program means that prospective users of TimeControl can focus on implementing a solution to their timesheet requirements as quickly as possible without having to worry that they have to finalize the architecture of that solution on the first day.

"The Cross-Over program has given some of our newer clients confidence that they can implement TimeControl incredibly quickly by subscribing to the online solution and then move to an on-premises installation once the internal hardware is ready," says Stephen Eyton-Jones, HMS Software's Director of HMS Technical Services. "The credit towards the purchase means they can pay for what they use and not be penalized as they migrate the application in house. That's very popular."

TimeControl Industrial Online

HMS has also announced the availability of its powerful Industrial version as an online service. TimeControl Industrial Online is the Cloud-based subscription service of the popular field data collection system.

"Clients are delighted to find out that TimeControl Industrial is available both for purchase as an on-premises installation or as an in-the-cloud subscription service," said Ken Edwards, a senior Account Manager at HMS. "Clients who need a flexible and robust field data collection system need the flexibility for doing both."

TimeControl Industrial clients sometimes work in situations where network coverage is unavailable. In this case, the on-premises installation can be put on a laptop and the system run remotely. In other situations, there is no desire to run systems remotely, and a centrally maintained service is preferable. Clients now have the ability to have either online or on premises or even a blend of both.

TimeControl pricing begins at $120/User for on premises purchases and $12 per User per month for TimeControlOnline in the cloud. Pricing for TimeControl Industrial Online subscriptions and the TimeControl Cross-Over program are available upon request.
